sin1 zi3xiān zhì

English

  1. (adv.) only then; not until; only after; then
  2. not until; only when; used to connect two events to indicate that the first event needs to take place before the second event; note that the word has to be inserted to the second clause, and must be after the subject if present
  3. in order to; so that; used to indicate that the former event is the pre-requisite of the latter event

  1. 用嚟連接兩個事件,指前面事件發生咗,跟住至會到後面嘅事件(放喺第二句子句入面,該句如果有主語的話,要加喺主語之後)
  2. 指前者係後者嘅先決條件
